Life Chain Sunday
On Saturday, October 9th, Bishop George Lucas, Bishop of Springfield, will hold a Mass for the unborn victims of abortion at Holy Family Church in Granite City. The Mass will be at 9:00AM and followed with the recitation of the rosary while walking with Bishop Lucas to pray in front of the Hope Abortion Clinic.
This is a good project for Confirmation classes, and students in general. It is a peaceful, prayerful gathering to which students and adults alike are invited to attend. A light luncheon will be served afterward at the Holy Family Parish Center. The church is at 2606 Washington Street in Granite City.
